Just like driving a car there are skills we have to acquire to shoot a gun. Also like driving this is something that you don’t get in one day. It takes knowledge, patience and practice… and practice and then some more practice. In fact once you start you can count on gaining knowledge from the strangest places. Practice is never ending. The patience… that one’s hard. We’ll work on it. This is what Ladies Night Out is all about. Oh.. that and having fun!
Ladies Night Out I -An introduction to the hand gun as a tool for self defense. Learn gun and range terminology and safety rules for the range and home, how your gun works, and how to handle it safely and comfortably. We will also cover what it takes to hit what you aim at fast and accurately, and dry fire drills to practice at home.
All live fire drills will be done from “Low ready” or “Retention”.
Ladies Night Out II -OK, you feel very comfortable with your gun. You can load it, clean it and it doesn’t feel strange on your hip. You’re even hitting what you aim at or have an idea about why you missed. Time to step up the training. Draw from the holster, changing magazines, shooting on the move, en-gaging multiple targets, more dry fire drills. You get the idea… it’s harder.
